Being thrilled about unplanned pregnancy -- it's not just for psycho ex-girlfriends anymore! It's, um, for men now too. According to a new study, men tend to be happier and more receptive to "whoopsie babies" than we are.
The study, conducted by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, polled American men and women aged 18–29. Of all the men who said they weren't ready for kids, 43 percent said that they would be "a little pleased" or "very pleased" with such a surprise, while only 20 percent of women answered the same. (Well, yeah, because remember once again where that bundle of joy is going to gestate for eight months.)
Are you surprised? Relieved? Grabbing your phone to make sure your boyfriend isn't secretly poking holes in your condoms? We don't know quite how to feel; we can't help but think of Liz Lemon's pregnancy scare, and the sheer delight of Dennis the Beeper King.
In other words: Stock up on your backup method, kids.

Yup, this happened to me last year and I was not too happy but HE was super stoked and ready for it. We have a happy family and things worked out but I thank goodness it did.
