Mister Rogers used to teach us everything, from how cars work to making sure our hygiene was one the up-and-up. But as we get older and start to really listen to what this "friendly neighbor" has to say, Mr. Rogers seems to have a devious side brewing inside of him. Just kidding. Obviously Mister Rogers was a harmless dude in awesome sweaters, but as we all know, the Internet is evil. This video shows us that even the nicest man in the world has a Dark Side: Set to music that sounds like something by Massive Attack, Fred's one-liners and zingers like, "Hugs don't sound much, do they?" or "Everybody does some bad things, you know?"
The nine-minute clip is something that even we couldn't bear to watch in one sitting. See how long you last, and sorry for destroying your childhood. ENJOY!

Apparently our legislators never learned about civility from Mr. Rogers.
They need to watch the original shows!

Reminded me so much of my therapist that it actually made me admit that it's time to find a new one.

I think I love Mr. Rogers too much to be creeped out by this. I got through all of it and it just made me feel nostalgic. On the other hand, I've seen some of the shows my young daughter watches these days- they aren't much different. Sometimes, if I'm in another room just hearing it, I like to try equating everything they say to double entendres. It is easiest with Caillou. Try for yourself!

As hard as this tried to take things out of context, I still have good feelings for Mr. Rogers :) I miss the days when nice guys weren't pedophiles and perverts.

I guess that, now that Mr. Rogers is deceased, it's okay to slurry his memory with this tripe.
What the author of this article didn't understand was the Mr. Rogers had a PhD in education/child development. His television show was geared to preschool children who might not otherwise have a positive role model in their lives. He allowed them to think about the best and worst things in their world without frightening them to death. His show moved from real to fantasy through use of a train--an excellent devise.
So, you thought he was creepy? Well, he was kind and loving and gentle--and no one ever accused him of being a pedophile or a pederast.

I grew up with Mr. Rogers and just loved the show. Although this was a bit creepy, I took it with a grain of salt. It was funny!!
