Maybe it's Valentine's Day approaching that's making us all romantic-nostalgic ... about someone else's relationship.After watching "The Notebook," it was clear that we all wanted a love just like the one that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams shared -- on- and off-screen.
Then there was the Squee Heard 'Round the World when the duo won Best Kiss at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards; their on-stage smooch only solidified our love for McGosling.
Unfortunately, the on-again off-again duo seem to be permanently off. We say: LAME.
What do we want for Valentine's Day? Not chocolate! Not flowers! We want these two to just kiss and make up -- for real this time. So maybe this video of their epic smooch will jog their silly Canadian memories, eh?
And if that doesn't work, Ryan Gosling can always call us. Enjoy!

We can all dream, both in fantasy and reality, for ourselves and for the McGoslings. But once Valentine's Day passes and our daily lives go on, so must the truth. There is the love out there that we dream of like that (and there are a few fortunates who have been lucky to experience it), but as far as the one Ryan and Rachel had is gone for now. And it may never come back...to us or to them. THAT's the reality of it all. But the memories (both of The Noteook and the YouTube video MTV 2005 awards), will always stir our hearts no matter what day it is.
