If your low self-esteem is making it difficult for you to leave the house, have we got a video for you! Unfortunately your fear of people staring at you will be replaced by the paranoid notion that all men are creepy stalkers. Here is a strange video "For Lady," which is supposed to cure your social anxiety by helping you learn how to be stared at by "ikemen," or cutie-patooties. Unfortunately, the blank stares of guys who are at best mildly attractive and at worst somebody we would make fun of at the mall do more to send chills down our spines than calm our nerves.
Maybe we're just sensitive. Tell us, do you think this video is more likely to make you go outside and meet new people, or lock your windows and pray for the apocalypse? Oh, and enjoy! If that's at all possible.

There was only one guy out of all of those who even looked like a guy! That was just a completely freakishly weird and comical view of Asian men.

Way to go insulting another culture's standards on what's attractive just because they don't match your own. I really sickens me sometimes how closed minded Americans can be.

Hey chan, what standard should we use other than our own? _ These girly boys look funny to us so we laugh... Don't get all judgmental just because other cultures may think this is attractive... We don''t.

I agree with Marc, the guys in this video are extremely feminine-looking ... it isn't just Americans, I think many Western women would agree that this look doesn't do it for us. At least not past age 12.
They're good-looking guys though (ha yeah except for that one towards the end there, who maybe dropped a Y chromosome somewhere along the line).
Sorry, Chan, it's a cultural difference, and you'll have to accept that. For someone trying to come off as open-minded you kinda missed your own point and came off as the arrogant one instead.

Creepy video, but i don't see why all the criticism of the looks of the guys? They look pretty normal to me, though i don't see how this video would help shyness in the least!

some of those dudes could easily pass for ladies even with minimal make up--they were all dudes right?

I kind of have to agree with chan. (Although I can definitely say I am not 'sickened' by anyone's statements.) Pretty is what women want from men in this culture. Maybe this ISN'T what most western women want but hey....this video wasn't made for us. I don't think it would be cool for a bunch of japanese girls to sit around making fun of our standards for attractive so why are we? If I told someone that I found someone attractive and they started explaining to me how un-attractive they where I would be a little put off. It just seams catty to me...
That aside this video is supremely creepy. I'm pretty sure blinking is a necessity for the human eye to maintain it's proper functions.
