We already knew that the late Bea Arthur had one impressive set of pipes, but did you know she knew how to get her groove on, too? In a rare (and awfully pixelated) clip, this Golden Girl shakes what her mama gave her with actor Jaleel White (better known as "Family Matters"' favorite nerd Steve Urkel) in their own rendition of the Urkel Dance at the American Comedy Awards.
While she may have been well into her 70s at this point, Arthur's effortless pelvic thrusts prove that she's still got it. She even takes a jab at "U Can't Touch This" saying, "Hey MC Hammer, try to top that!" Watch her do her thing. Enjoy!

I miss her too--like she was a relative or something. Can't watch Golden Girls reruns without feeling badly she is gone. Still makes me laugh...so much talent.

I miss her too and wish a station would rerun "Maude". What a great comedy that was. Bea was the epitomy of style and class, and we can keep her alive with her shows we still watch. God rest her soul.

Bea, can still cut a rug with the best of them. AND AT THE AIG HEARING, 12/27/10, HANK PAULSON, KEPT EVERYONE AWAKE. HIS BETWEEN THE LINES COMMENTS WERE RAZOR SHARP. "ONE PART OF THE COMPANY, WOULD HAVE CONTAMINATED ANOTHER COMPANY. AND THAT WOULD HAVE RIPPLED THROUGH......... (THE SYSTEM)......." IT REMINDED ME OF CHARLES MALBYE'S, ANSCHUTZ MINING, STATEMENT IN THE LATE SEVENTIES IN THE DEMOCRAT NEWS ,( FREDERICKTOWN, MO, NEWSPAPER). ' WE KNEW THE DAM HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE PURCHASING, THEN THE RAINS CAME." THE MADISON MINE DAM BROKE RAN OVER OUR PROPERTY, AND THROUGHOUT THE TOWN.

I love Bea Arthur. The year before she passed away I sent her a fan letter and never expected to hear back. But she was kind enough to send me an autographed photo. May she rest in peace.

What a shame it's so "pixelated". Could be the comic clip of all time!!!Incredible lady that will never be forgotten. A true, true talent. I can watch Golden Girls until I'm one of them!!! Funniest show ever.

That was a hilarious clip. I only knew bea from the golden girls, but she played dorothy to a charm. I think she did back in the early 2000's sing the seventh inning stretch at a cubs game at wrigley field. She is so truely missed. I watch the golden girls every night it is on.

Everyone makes fun of me because I have no idea who some of the actors or things reference. I don't care, I look them up on the net !!!
I LOVE, LOVE Bea Arthur, the eyebrow, the delivery - She was great and I will always love her.
