Last night I got a Facebook message:

Soon after I got about 10 more private messages from various women in my circle inquiring about my over-the-shoulder boulder-holder in honor of breast cancer awareness and prevention. (But question: Do any guys really give a sh** about this?)
So let's do it, ladies. Leave a comment describing your bra, the color and anything else you'd like to mention, then take off your top and check your boobies for cancer.
Mine:
OH MY GOD, IT'S HUGE! I could wear it as a hat if I fold it in half. It's like a bridge with huge expansion cables holding up my shoulders. It's like the scales of sweet lady justice cradling the very laws of humanity in her gigantic DDD cups! I bet it could fit on the Statue of Liberty.
Oh, and it's black.

I am also a breast cancer survivor of two years after undergoing the full arsenal of treatments that, hopefully eradicated my body of this horrible disease. I am also currently taking oral cancer prevention medication - it is my reminder each and every day of the fight. Cancer is not top of mind for everyone like it is for me and my bc sisters, however, and I applaud any attempt to raise awareness and stir attention. I thought the 'what color are you wearing' Facebook campaign was an interesting, though misguided, idea. I did post my color, but I also included a story about WHY women were posting colors on FB. How can it be called awareness if nobody knows what it means??
Yes, it got people talking but I wonder how many missed the intended message completely and only paid attention to the mysterious and ultimately provacative status updates of their women friends?

It seemed like a bit of harmless fun, but by the end of the day it had turned into a competition to see whose bra was the sexiest/cutest/craziest. Lace and polka dots aren't colours.

All of the people upset over this are retarded.
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation facebook page jumped over 140,000 fans from this.
