Apparently membership to BeautifulPeople.com should come with an anti-eggnog advisory -- 5,000 of its users have been banned for gaining too much weight over the holidays.The boot came after the site began receiving complaints from some of its users about meeting up with people who had gained weight since the holidays or whose recently uploaded pictures showed visible weight gain.
To join the online dating sight already existing members have to vote on whether an applicant is attractive enough. Apparently the cumulative effects of pumpkin pie, spinach dip and hot buttered rum were more than some people could handle.
In an interview with BBC, site founder Robert Hintze said, "Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded." Call us crazy, but we wouldn't want to date anyone with this mentality, regardless of whether or not they think we're hot.

Are these people serious? Whoo joins a site called 'beautiful people'? Probably the same people who think they are attractive....and how much weight can a person gain over the holidays? I mean if a woman meets a man from here, they get married and she gets pregnant, is he going to divorce her because she gains weight? This site is stupid and the founder of this site is most likely going to get fat in his old age.....what a dumby.....its people like that that shouldnt be allowed to procreate....I am fat....i love it and so does my man....f**k those fat haters, its because of them and others who discriminate that makes the world such a terrible place to live in.....thanks a lot a**holes....

The site had requirements to be met. Let's take dating site out of the equation. If this were a bowling team and you were required to bowl a 145 average to make the team, but only averaged a 135 then you wouldn't make the team. If you were on the team and then your average dropped, you would get kicked off. This is one site of a thousand dating sites. So you no longer make the requirement, big deal, join another site. I couldn't join the millionair dating site. Do I consider that to be discriminatory? No. It is a requirement I do not meet..

I am sorry that there are dating sites like this one. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It is not what is on the outside, it is what is on the inside of someone's soul. It is sad that today there are so many narrow minded hypocrites that think perfection is being stick thin. That does not make a personality, nor a relationship. And weight can be lost, an idiot will always be an idiot.

Why in the name of all that is pure and good in this world are we even giving credence to hate mongerers. Fat is a choice, for some there are people who did not choose fat. IT CHOSE THEM! How about a severe thyroid problem and no insurance to buy the medications. MY BAD, Steve and his kin, live in a utopia, skinny people in, skinny people out did you send your physically deficient gene somewhere in the fat world? No you are deficient in human kindness and generosity of spirit. You have a hate filled heart and are no better than any other hate group.
My prayer for all you people who think that because you are thin you are better........I hope a fat person at some point holds whether you live and die in their, chunky hands. I bet Steve has no problem putting his nose to their ass then.

If all of the beautiful people who are remaining on the sight aren't fat, then they must have some other major flaw that makes it necessary for them to use a dating sight in the first place. I guess I would rather choose from the amongst the culinary challenged. They can do something about their problem, but as Ron White says " You can't fix stupid".

William.. you are an idiot. Clearly you are one ignorant ass. It is not the "FAT" people who are causing the new health care bill. It is those who choose not to work for companies that offer insurance. 2nd... when i go to the buffet, it is usually skinny people there (not very many heavy people). I am betting two things: 1. you are probably a fat man yourself (since that's usually who bashes heavy woman or whatnot). 2. You are probably a lazy a-hole who sits on your butt and sponges off of the government, but wants to blame everyone else.

You know I don't know why you keep saying plus size people stink....not all of them do..i gotta tell you, I have been around a lot of thin, model type people who have actually smelled worse than fat people....and I've lived in Britain for over 5 yrs and they aren't very keen on their hygiene like we Americans are....you really should stop hating....and in case you haven't noticed...anyone one can get diabetes....little kids have diabetes!!!!! and I have seen so many atheletic people drop dead of a cardiac and they were in great shape...so whats up with that?? you really need to change your mindset because you may find yourself on the other side one day.....p.s. a lot of plus sized people are large not because they eat.......there can be other medical conditions that make them that way including cancer survivors who had to take hormones as their treatment which makes people gain weight....so you never know why a person is the way that they are and shame on you for making fun of anyone with excess weight....i hope you never have to go through that because no one deserves that even rude a** know nothing, know it all's.......
