The Year in Bad Photoshopping
Also on Lemondrop: From missing body parts to digital weight loss, sometimes Photoshop can do more bad than good. Here are some of 2009's worst Photoshopped pictures.

It's no surprise that probably every image in your favorite glossy has gone through the Photoshop salon for a little enhancement. However, sometimes a Photoshop fix does more harm than good. Here are some the year's Photoshop faux pas.
There's no doubt that Demi Moore is one of the hottest cougars walking the planet right now. However, her December cover sparked speculation about whether or not that is really her body. While Moore swears (via Twitter) that the image is all her, it still became one of 2009's cover images that just looked too good to be true.

Photoshop didn't shed the weight off this "Biggest Loser" contestant. However it looks like the image was edited so much that she ended up losing a leg.

Although the concept is cool, Golf Digest probably should have been slicker than just
sticking Tiger and Obama's heads on two other golfers' bodies. Unfortunately, this image, which is January 2010's cover that's on stands now, looks more like a parody than a legit photograph.

Kelly Clarkson has never been afraid to show that she's got meat on her bones. So when SELF magazine decided to slim her down for the September 2009 issue, it became one of the most talked about covers of the year. Despite the controversy surrounding the digital diet the magazine gave Clarkson, SELF's editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger defended the decision since cover photos should always look their best.

Alicia Silverstone and Connie Britton look top notch on Redbook's October 2009 cover. Unfortunately it looks like Ashlee Simpson didn't get the same Photoshop treatment. From the dark circles under her eyes and the odd shape of her nose, digital enhancement really didn't help her out.

When Halle Berry graced Harper Bazaar's May 2009 cover, the pretty-in-pink look made us question her lighter skin tone, larger cheekbones and thinner face shape. While lighting and make-up can definitely change someone's color, the Web buzzed that magazine editors overly photoshopped Berry and made her look unrecognizable.

Although most glossies want to have new photos of celebs on their covers, a 2009 issue of Russian Glamour decided to reprint an old cover shot of Beyonce from another Russian magazine. The only problem was that the two-year-old image has obviously been in Photoshop for way too long and made Beyonce's skin tone look so much darker than in the original.

Unfortunately being the President of the United States doesn't save you from being examined in Photoshop. The May 2009 issue of the Washingtonian took a paparazzi photo of Obama on vacation and slapped it on their cover. Aside from changing his shorts from black to red, it looks like Obama himself was fairly untouched. However, do we really need to see the president in his board shorts? We think not.

Photoshop really does wonders, especially when you're able to take two of popular celebrity spawn and make them look like they're BBFs. We're not saying that Suri and Shiloh aren't playmates, but OK!'s cover shot obviously looks like it's more Photoshop magic than an actual play date.

Just watch her music video for "3," and it really looks like Britney's been hitting the gym -- hard! But no matter how many crunches you do or how many miles you run on the the treadmill, Spears' waistline on the December issue of Australia's Cosmopolitan is one that every woman would love to have -- even Britney herself.

Who gives a rats ass? They let kids out of high school do this stuff because they only want to pay $9.00 an hour. What do you expect. I was a professional graphic artist for years and had to switch to IT because I couldn't even buy coffee on the salaries they pay now to work 60 hour weeks.

Take a look at "High Society", Volume 23, Number 13 Holiday , 1998, page 9, the images in the article "No Moore Marriage", and observe what a hot Cougar was doing bent over between two studs dressed in their birthday suits. Why not publish that picture again on AOL NEWS for all to see? Or was that a different person with the same name? Or perhaps the image was faked; who knows?
This is the kind of "star" we want our young girl scouts to idolize, no? Soon Hollywood would have the public believe this activity should be rated P.G., no?
But like the Catholic Priests of recent times, the Hollywood stars have likely always engaged in such orgies, their predecessors just didn't get caught with their pants down did they? Isn't it a shame their privacy was invaded in more ways than one. I wonder if she recommends this image for her children and grandchildren too?

it is so beyond obvious that Demi's picture was photo shopped. You can tell by looking at the sash, and where it rests - in mid air - and then lays against her leg. come on now, are we really supposed to believe she has one beautiful curved hip and one straight as a ruler hip? And that the sash (or whatever it is called that she is wearing) is REALLY resting in mid air? And to chabuduolo12 , you are NOT an air force. You might be IN the air force, but you are not THE air force :) lol
