The snooze button: one of the great inventions in history, in our opinion. Not ready to face the world yet? Just hit the button, and five or 10 more minutes of peace -- with no responsibility on your part. Finally, HitMeLater has had the great idea to apply this concept to email. Can't deal with one of your messages? Just forward the email to 24@hitmelater.com, and they'll send you the email again in a day. (Replace "24" with any lower number, and you'll get the e-mail in that number of hours.)

How about you just save it as new and conquer it at your request on your own time?

thats exactly what I have been doing for years! Works for me. Keep as new is the best feature. Read it and save for later replying.

I've got an easy solution to that problem already so I don't need to add this to my computer. I simply read the email later when I have time for it. No worry then about when it is read or anything.

That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Just one more way to clog up the internet and make it even slower. Thanks a lot!

This wouldnt make the internet slower, the bandwidth for this service has nothing to do with the bandwidth of any other website, including AOL. They're on seperate servers, and therefore are completely sovreign from each other.

Not to mention sending them the email gives them access to the full header info (who sent it, IP, your email, etc). Easy way to get more spam.

Add this to one of the dumbest ideas for 2009!!! How do any of us know they don't read the E-mails. Just keep it as new and read it when ever you want.

Another useless tool from AOL If you don't want to read your email, don't read it. Why go to the trouble of making more work for yourself? I just don't get it.

If AWOL - er - I mean AOL wants to improve itself, get rid of those dumb footer advertisements so we can read more of our mail and/or see more of photos without scrolling past an ad for a product we have absolutely no interest in.

Sounds like the perfect invention for stick-thin girls that are so stupid that they "forget to eat". Exactly how dumb must one be to not be able to sort and prioritize their own inbox???
