Meet Damiella, who works at Marvel Entertainment doing online marketing and overseeing social media. This means she gets paid to update Marvel's Facebook and YouTube channel among other things, like writing occasional articles about superhero fashion for the Style section of Marvel.com. "I got to interview Tim Gunn for a video segment, which was pretty much the best day at work I've ever had!" she says.

When not working, Damiella spends a lot of time transcribing her melodramatic childhood diary entries and mocking -- er, blogging about them in The Diary Project. She also creates postcard-sized collages of "portable art" and sells prints on Etsy. "Basically, I always have to be writing something, making something, learning something, or doing something creative or I feel like I'll die," she says. "Knitting is the closest I'll ever get to meditation."

She adds, "I can't think of a single site out there that does what Lemondrop does with the amount of sass and smarts that you guys do it."
