Welcome to the December edition of the Lemondrop Book Club. This month's selection is 'Dark Lover,' by J.R. Ward. If you like vampires, you'll love it! As always, we have juicy questions. Some can be answered even if you haven't read the novel. This month, you can win a copy of J.R. Ward's latest, 'Covet,' the first chapter in her new series 'The Fallen Angels.' Everyone who comments before January 1 is eligible to win a copy of her recently released novel.
To start off, let's talk about vampires!
-- Everyone's crazy about vampires, from Robert Pattinson in "New Moon" to "True Blood"'s Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgård. What other actors would you like to see as vampires?

-- Does Ward's created language give credence to her twist on the vampire legend or does it trivialize it for you?
-- What is the most believable medical aspect of Havers's research on vampires? What's the least believable?
-- In a "Dark Lover" movie or TV series, who would you like to see cast as Wrath? What about the other Brothers?
-- Why do you think that vampires are so popular right now?
Leave a comment and check in tomorrow for more questions.

So, carms, who's your favorite Brother? I started reading somewhere around the 3rd or 4th book and have been reading ever since. I "made" my roommate/brother's fiancee read the books and got her hooked, too! Most recently, I gave the first 2 books to my cousin to read! I drool over the brothers so much that any time someone tells me they like vampires, I make them read the series.

Vampires have always been hot but thanks to authors like Stephenie Meyer and J.R. Ward they have come back into style. I am a big fan of The Vampire Diaries and all it took was one episode. I have yet to read the books but I plan on it along with reading Dark Lover.

I have read all of the series . I must admit that I was not a reader at all. Like many of the recent fans of paranormal romance, I started with Meyers sparkly vamps. Then one of the twimoms said read the BDB series and let me say ... it was like trading in my schwinn bicycle for a Harley Davidson Electra Glide. I was drawn to the brothers because of the way they found their shellens. As in Rhages case, all it took was a word from her lips. The tenderness that was buried deep in the heart of Zsadist and watching it surface ever so slowly with Bella and then Nalla was heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. Each time you read one of these books you read that last page and say to yourself, I love that brother the most. Until you read the next in the series and it happens again. The devotion to their shellens is inspiring and sometimes smothering but these ladies will put that brother in his place in a heartbeat with just a word or a look. I am looking forward to many more in this series and they can't come fast enough for me.

Gosh I would love to see Blackdagger Brotherhood on TV. But these guys are sooo big and beautiful, I'm not sure that anyone could quite capture there true essence.
I became hooked on Vampire books after reading the Twilight Sagas with reluctance. My 14yrs old daughter had read Twilight series and told me/begged me to read just 1(Twilight) I did, and so began my love affair with Vamps. Now I can't get enough. I just loved the Blackdagger Brotherhood books. I can't wait to find out more about John and Zaddist and his baby and of corse Wrath and Beth
