I have found that extreme pranks, jokes have a way of going wrong in ways you can't imagine beforehand. sometimes horribly so. This a perfect example where panic kicks in the guy freaks and either has a coronary, or augers in. How do ever sleep again? The instructor won't keep your little secret, and you go to prison . No amountof laughing is worth that.. universiies need class in common sense..this is not funny at all even for sophomores.

This is the most horrible trick that I have ever heard of-- true enough, he did jump which is putting your life on the line; would never do that. For someone to convince you that you will die for 5 min.. I am amazed that he did not have heart failure-- attempted murder in my books.

This was the stupidest thing anyone could ever do to anyone. I am a Former Ranger and have jumped far more times than most sport jumpers. Jumping is not a game. It is a very dangerous exercise.
I have also been a sky Diver for many years. Far more than most of these people have been living. What would this stupid idiot who pulled this stunt done had the Chute not opened? Also, I doubt they even thought of a full physical for the person making the jump. What if, he had an unknown health or heart problem? It is my thoughts there should be a real large Law Suit over this type of prank. PURE STUPIDITY even on the Piolets part.
Had I been in that Plane, that would have never happened.

Never try this at home would be a good disclaimer, or, for those in my group, senior citizens, we might just fake out Amir, and unlike Streeter, drop dead during the drop..high blood pressure, heart conditions et al. it was over the line at all, it was a joke. and as GM said it wasn't intended for adults to watch its intended for college aged students. so take a joke once and a while everyone. its not like they planned him to actually die, or even put his life in jeopardy, everything was planned so he would live.

It's apparent that these two "men" have too much spare time and money. Why not do something wonderful for mankind, like feed a couple of hundred people, or buy coats, gloves for the homeless. If I could, I would do it in an instant.
