OK, the first time we saw this cop nudge away this little kitty away, we thought he was a tad rough. Then we saw what the cat had done to deserve to the gentle boot -- namely, climb the police officer like a sapling while he was trying to write a citation.

This cat, you guys!!! He just wants to be that cop's hat so bad!
