Yesterday was the beginning of what the Huffington Post has dubbed "Sarah Palin Week" -- five solid days of media appearances to promote her new hair memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life."

The first stop on this tour was, obviously, the "The Oprah Winfrey Show," where Palin spoke seriously about her political philosophy.

Just kidding! After watching the one-hour interview -- which centered most on Palin's wardrobe, exercise habits and Thanksgiving plans -- we've rounded up the most outrageous Palinisms from the highly anticipated interview.

1. On receiving the vice-presidential nomination: "I wasn't shocked at all."

2. On the controversy surrounding her vice-presidential campaign: "I thought the most controversial fact about myself was that I received a D in college!"

3. On McCain's lengthy announcement that he'd chosen her as his running mate: "It was funny that he had so much explaining to do."

4. On Trig (her 2-year-old-son who was prenatally diagnosed with Down Syndrome): "I really understood how women could think it's easier to have an abortion in situations like that."
Oprah: "So you thought about having an abortion?"
Palin: "No."

5. On the Katie Couric interview: "I thought it was going to be a lighthearted interview between two working moms ... then she badgered me with questions about politics."

Oprah: "Why?"
Palin: "They kept scheduling them!"

7. On Levi (her granddaughter's father): "He took 'foundational untruths' and built on them."

8. More on Levi: "His gig is inconsistencies."
Oprah: "Such as?"
Palin: "He said I didn't go to hockey games!"

10. On media bias:
Oprah: "Do you think the way you were portrayed in the media contributed to you losing the election?"
Palin: "Nope."

11. On McCain's concession speech: "I wish they had let me speak. They told me that VPs don't usually speak. I mean, I've heard VPs speak for years."

12.
On her newfound freedom: "It's nice to be able to say what I want now without having to worry about ethics violations and lawsuits."

13. On working motherhood:
Oprah: "Were you concerned about juggling family and being VP?"
Palin: "There is a lot more equality now. Women can do the same job as a man ... but I wouldn't preach to women that they can have it all, unless they have help."

14. [continued...] "Well, women can have it all, just not at the same time."

15. On being governor: "I wasn't able to talk about important issues."

And finally: "I resigned because Alaska was being hampered by my presence. I could better serve Alaskans by not being governor."
