In a recent New York Times Magazine article on Megan Fox, it was revealed that the Transformers star and her publicity team are having a hard time getting women to relate to or even like her. Or, as Megan so succinctly summed it up in the interview, "Girls think I'm a slut, and I've been in the same relationship since I was 18. The problem is, if they think you're attractive, you're either stupid or a whore or a dumb whore. The instinct among girls is to attack the jugular."
Stop right there. Could it be that maybe, just maybe, really this is just a hunch, that we don't think Megan Fox is stupid, or a whore, or a stupid whore? Is it in fact possible that women just don't enjoy having grand, sweeping generalizations made about them that are entirely negative, coupled with the fact that she just called all of our friends ugly?
Granted, our homegirls may not have 22-inch waists and date a guy from "Beverly Hills 90210," but that doesn't make them totally busted. In fact, I wouldn't rank any of my friends below a 7, and that's a sober rating, folks.
The point is that she's not so wonderful that she can insult us and the people we care about and expect to earn our trust. Unlike dudes, we aren't blinded by her rather magnificent bosom. We have awesome boobs, too.
If Megan Fox really wants to gain the trust of women everywhere, maybe she should stop calling us jealous, scheming lunatics who are vastly inferior to her in terms of looks and personality. That seems like a pretty good start. Also, Megan, nobody wants to know what your farts smell like. OK, someone probably does, but we're not that person. And it's not because we're jealous of your sphincter or something.

Why would I be jealous of a bunch of plastic surgery and hair extensions? You all know that Meagan has had her nose, lips and breasts done. She needs some skin resurfacing while she's at it, with all that nasty sun damage she has got.

OMG, that's so true. I didn't even know she had all that plastic surgery. Whatever I think I look better than her. She has more sex appeal than me but I don't want to portray myself as a sex object. I prefer good attention than bad attention. She is getting what she is asking for. This article isn't stupid. It's actually very amusing and pathetic that Megan thinks she's the queen of the world. Get over it, Megan. You are no where as near as a natural beauty or supermodel material. You are just another sex object that men want as a tool. I don't like her because I think she talentless. There are a million other women who could do what she does & have a little grace & dignity. Instead, every time she opens her mouth she sound like an attention-whore or petty. She talks about how crazy she is, how into sex, slams other actors & then takes it back. She's an unstable mess & I can't wait for her to go away. The reason most men don't mind her is because they are less likely to be listening to an interview or reading an article where she makes an idiot of herself because they're looking at the pictures.
She has more than once talked about women not liking her, and that's probably the biggest key to women not liking her because it's simply a way of her to say "I'm so hot that other women can't take it. Poor me." The real bottom line is that the person who has a problem in her. She's insecure & full of false bravado, and she knows women have her number.
There are a lot of pretty girls, even smokin' hot girls out there, and a fair amount are talented. Let's find one of those girls, eh? It's a pretty sick world where girls are looking up to Paris, Brittney, & Megan.

Anyone who continues to write negative things about Megan is just jealous. She's beautiful, she's a good actress, people go see movies bc she is in them. All you negative people are just haters. It's funny what this author wrote. You can tell just a few sentences in that she is jealous. All she did was take a negative spin on something Megan said that was true.
Negative people suck. Leave her alone. I'm sure you have better things in life to do than slam other people, just because you are so dissatisfied with who you are as a person. Be happy with the fact that you are not as beautiful as she is, nor as good an actress, nor make as much money. Be happy with the fact that you are who you are and are good at other things, like just being normal. There is nothing wrong with that. All you haters... just be happy with who you are and with what you've got and where you are going to be in the future... and stop being haters! Just imagine how cool Megan could be if everyone treated her with respect. It would be a completely different story.

As a straight female, I'm going to have to agree with Megan Fox and researchers13. Women are f_cking CRAZY, and whoever wrote this article sounds extremely jealous. Megan Fox is the new "it' girl, who all our boyfriends are staring at, so naturally we hate her. Except it's not natural, it's stupid. Because your boyfriends are never going to meet her, and if they did, she wouldn't have sex with them anyway. She is a fantasy image, created by a team of make-up artists, stylists, etc. to look like the perfect woman in order to sell movie tickets. And yea, she strips down for some movies, but I think it's safe to say that most women who say they would turn down millions of dollars and legions of males drooling over them, for their "dignity" is full of shit. It's not about loss of dignity, or being a "slut" it's about being comfortable enough with your own female sexuality to do what Megan Fox does, even if you don't look like her.

Okay, that was incredibly mysoginist of you (lets not criticize what minor cosmetic decisions women make about their OWN beautiful bodies, mmm'kay?) and unnecessary. You haven't even made a valid arguement and have only added more fuel to every MeganHater's fire. Quite frankly, I'm fucking beautiful. And although I can appreciate Megan's beauty, methinks my sexy self is waaay hotter than her any day! Another thing, if you got a whiff of me after getting out of the shower (or out of the gym, frankly, if you want to get scientific) then I bet you'd be singing a sweeter tune. There is no need for anyone to be throwing insults at eachother. Could we all behave like adults, please? Heck, I don't even know what that means any more. Most adults are "immature" like this. I've seen toddlers behave with more grace.

On a final note:
I understand that some of you have other reasons for not being fond of Ms.Fox (her acting, etc.) but if this were the only case, then you simply wouldn't be fond of her, rather than getting all snarky and vicious and wasting time in the comment section. Most of the people commenting are being flat-out disgusting about this. Tame that little green moster, girls.
My reason for commenting: I'm tired of this pretentious and superficial BS where women take their claws out at eachother. If you REALLY cared about women not making fools of themselves (as you say Ms.Fox does) then you would show a little more self restraint when it comes to shit like this.
As a feminist, this has been a growing issue that I have been at either end of for many years of my life, and women need to start behaving better towards eachother. Peace is not to be pejorative, it is essential for the survival of the species.

Please let me explain why I am not fond of Megan Fox. It honestly has nothing to do with looks. I actually can appreciate pretty girls and not be jealous. The simple reasons are is one, I am not a big fan of her acting. Personally she isn't believable when it comes to playing a role in a movie. Second, I have yet to see a movie that she is in that doesn't revolve around her sex appeal. I mean, come on! There are plenty of gorgeous women actors out there who don't need to flaunt it to get noticed (Nicole Kidman). And third, she makes stupid comments about how she wants to be like Angelina Jolie, yet all she does is play in movies (badly). If she REALLY saw Angelina Jolie as a role model, she would be out there helping charities and promoting things that go to a good cause. Angelina goes to third world countries and donates a lot of her time and money to kids in need. No way do I see Megan Fox doing that. And whatever about the stupid comment on how she thinks people don't like her cause she's pretty. Besides that being self centered, not EVERYONE thinks she's stupid or a whore. I don't even know her personally, so why assume how many times she's around the block? All I know is that she acts badly, and I know exactly why she's having a hard time relating to women;
When you look at it all, she comes off as if she doesn't respect herself and she will play in loose roles that revolve around her body, not personality. She also isn't seen doing anything else BUT acting. So Megan, maybe you should try helping a charity, maybe a woman's center. And if you can't do that, then at least TRY to speak out about women and correct yourself of all these people calling you a slut. Tell them your morals, and that all the bad acting is just for the money, and MAYBE promise in the future that you will try to land a role in a movie that is classy and empowering, like say for example Changeling with Angelina Jolie. Then I will accept you as an actress and not some naive girl who doesn't know what she's doing for her image, and for the image of women everywhere.

You guys are all restarted and so is the person that wrote this whole thing about Megan Fox. She clearly isn't calling everyone that's not her or that dislikes her ugly. I agree completely with what she said. And you know what, I like Megan Fox and I'm a women and I think that she is extremely more attractive than me, but at the same time I don't think I'm ugly either. Everyone looks different to everyone, you might think that all your friends are above a 7, that's great really. But I may look at them, or the person next to you might look at them and think they are one of they ugliest group of people they have ever seen. I think that people have nothing better to do in their lives then trying to pick apart people that are clearly better off than you, just to make your life slightly better for a second. I also agree that the only reason that people don't like is because they are jealous, especially if you don't even know her it is because of her looks or just her whole life. So why don't you guys just get over yourselves already.

Wow, some of you men(and women) are being dense. No, women aren't being catty and jealous because Meaghan is soooooooooo beautiful, it's because we know that THAT is all she is about, that she is an insecure narcissist, and that's all she wants to be perceived as the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the world!!! LOL, and it was created by some excellent plastic surgery, that's what bothers a lot of us--she's a fake!!. Ms. Fox was attacked by women in the media FIRST...THEN she responded. As usual, people can't seperate a movie character from the actor playing the role. Because she is sexy and foward on film...then she MUST be the same kind of person in real life too. Right?
