In a recent New York Times Magazine article on Megan Fox, it was revealed that the Transformers star and her publicity team are having a hard time getting women to relate to or even like her. Or, as Megan so succinctly summed it up in the interview, "Girls think I'm a slut, and I've been in the same relationship since I was 18. The problem is, if they think you're attractive, you're either stupid or a whore or a dumb whore. The instinct among girls is to attack the jugular."
Stop right there. Could it be that maybe, just maybe, really this is just a hunch, that we don't think Megan Fox is stupid, or a whore, or a stupid whore? Is it in fact possible that women just don't enjoy having grand, sweeping generalizations made about them that are entirely negative, coupled with the fact that she just called all of our friends ugly?
Granted, our homegirls may not have 22-inch waists and date a guy from "Beverly Hills 90210," but that doesn't make them totally busted. In fact, I wouldn't rank any of my friends below a 7, and that's a sober rating, folks.
The point is that she's not so wonderful that she can insult us and the people we care about and expect to earn our trust. Unlike dudes, we aren't blinded by her rather magnificent bosom. We have awesome boobs, too.
If Megan Fox really wants to gain the trust of women everywhere, maybe she should stop calling us jealous, scheming lunatics who are vastly inferior to her in terms of looks and personality. That seems like a pretty good start. Also, Megan, nobody wants to know what your farts smell like. OK, someone probably does, but we're not that person. And it's not because we're jealous of your sphincter or something.

Great article. She consistently makes statements like this about other women (e.g. Scarlett Johansson, just to name one) and how women are so jealous of her and how beautiful she is and doesn't understand why this may not gain her points with the female populace. She's too busy wondering what people are potentiallly assuming about her... based on a stereotype that all women are hormonic, catty, and bitchy. So unfortuante... when she starts to make movies worth watching where she's not objectifying her own body, as opposed to acting... maybe we would take her more seriously.

She's too worried about her self image and what she is portraying. She's getting what she asked for just not in the form she wanted. Men only think of her in a sexual way. I doubt any guy out there believes she's a intelligent and beautiful women. Everyone looks at her and thinks of sex only.

I seriously agree with you. I love transformers,I grew up with transformers. I am a female watching transformers, why does it focus so much on megan fox? They are catering to the male audience. Ever since she came into the role on transformers i can not remember how i felt about the transformer theme. Also she is just like any other female. I wish the men woud stop hyping her up. there was a moment where she was on aol frontpage everyday. Im sorry but i am more intelligent about the world than to be following news on some conceted brat who has to make it clear that we women are not as pretty as her, and somewhat throwing it in our faces that our men thinks she cute.

Did anyone ever consider the possibility that she is talking about the tabloids and reacting to those people who say nasty things about her????? When she says "girls' she doesn't mean the general public..... it isn't like she is paranoid or anything!!!! People write mean, degrading things about her all the time and she is probably referring to THEM...not EVERY girl!!!
I think it is very sad that women have such jealousy issues and have to rip each other apart for no reason. Its not the girl's fault she is extremely attractive!!! I mean its just really immature to say such negative things about her when you don't even know her. Its time that we start sticking together as women and fighting FOR each other.... not against!!!

I'm totally not jealous and other people aren't either. There are so many more beautiful women out there. She does present herself as a tool for men and really not that beautiful. She looks disgusting and nasty to me. She wanted that image and now she has it. She is not even beautiful and her acting doesn't seem so great as well. Anyway, whatever she has no reason to be sad because a lot of guys like her and that's what she wants. Guys are just disgusting pigs these days. Points about Megan Fox:
-She can't act, so don't say she acts good. If you think she acts good, you clearly haven't seen better actors then that.
- She's an ungrateful person that thinks she's of a higher standard then her simply because most of the male gender think she's gorgeous. I won't lie though, she is beautiful.
-From what has been told about her on the set of Transformers, she doesn't seem to be a nice person at all. Heck, she even punched a little boy. Yes, she may have thought he was paparazzi, but who goes around punching people?

the article writer is jealous. megan did not say that the writer of the article was ugly or that her friends are ugly either. but jealous women always assume that they are and that is why they glare at girls like megan and then project their jealousy onto them. girls you fan the flames by bitching about her, and i bet there is some deep seated reason for that. Personally, I'm cutting her a break. Yeah she said those things, yeah it can all be taken that negatively and personally. But I don't think she really thinks about what she says. or at least she didn't in this case. I mean, she's gorgeous. She's probably not used to being required to speak. You can kind of tell from the way she delivers her lines in any and all of her acting roles. Halting and reaching for emotion that's just not there such as the epic, "Don't die... I need you. You can't die..." in Transformers 2. I mean, she's gorgeous from every angle... but she's got to deal with the truth that everyone that gets past her looks just dies laughing at her talent (or lack there of) as an actress... and yeah, I'm including guys. my friend base is 90% male and they think that fart quote she made was disgusting, not funny. That's not guy-humor. That's gross-out humor. It's an entirely different brand. Plus they all think she's high maintenance. Yeah, they'd put it in her... but they'd never have a conversation with her.
It's gotta be a rough life with no one to talk to and nothing to say.

Megan Fox has left a trail of being mean spirited, rude and that is only two ill facts of Ms. Fox. She has been know for calling out the Producer (who is well respected by his staff) out in public for being anything but kind. Bottom line here folks from what I have read she is a bitch. Personally I feel that any women who runs around in public crying about how her beauty causes other females to be jealous has an ego issue. She needs professional help.
