Lemondrop

Meet Renee, our first international Reader We Love! Originally from a small town in New Mexico, Renee made her way to Chicago, and then Portland, Ore., before ending up in the Netherlands in 1994.

Life is pretty sweet only 20 kilometers from Germany, but she has an insane four-hour one-way commute each day to her office -- but she's lucky enough to have her trusty Blackberry to keep up with the latest Lemondrop stories.

Because Renee's time is spent traveling on the train, she has less free time than the average person: "The little time I do have I spend trying to make my life a little better by taking care of myself (I'm a recovering Weight Watcher Lifetimer and just started running in April of this year), hanging out with my husband (who is Dutch, yes), my step kids every other weekend (who absolutely ROCK) my 17-year-old import cat, Frankie, and the Elvis, the cat who wanted to be a small dog by the way he eats."

She says her life improved dramatically after stumbling across Lemondrop via Twitter. (Well, maybe not those exact words, but that was the gist of it!) As she puts it, "I love Lemondrop because it's like me: witty, intelligent, hysterical, serious, silly and sometimes even makes you go 'WTF.'"
