Last week we threw down the gauntlet and asked you to help us find the best sandwich in America, and you rose to the challenge. Lemondrop received more than 20,000 votes, and now finalists from each region have been chosen. They are (pictured, from left to right): Cosmi's Deli cheesesteak; Mahony's Peacemaker po' boy; Winslow's Home brisket sandwich; and Capriotti's "Bobbie" sandwich.
It's up to you to pick the country's best stack of meat, cheese and bread so rock the vote. The winner will be announced tomorrow, on Sandwich Day.

I haven't had the others, but there is no way anything can compare to the brisket at Winslow's Home. It is melt in one's mouth delicious, transcending mere food.
