And these are just your classic straight-across-the-forehead-style bangs -- other Lemondrop eds sport side-swept and other long bang varieties. (In the spirit of full disclosure, I should tell you that we're also all brunettes.) But the popularity of the look doesn't surprise me in the slightest, considering how obsessed I've become since breaking into the world of bangs.
I've always liked them -- after all, what's good enough for Bettie Page is good enough for me. But it wasn't until I got them myself that I realized how bangs really kick your whole look into high-gear. They're basically their own accessory, adding quirk and edge to even basic looks. If you don't believe me, check out this awesome picture of Julieanne, Bonnie, Kelly and me posing as fictional girl band "Bangs Force One." We all look like lead singers.
So I am a total bangs convert, despite the fact that they don't sustain sweat or bad weather with the aplomb of a breezier hair style. Do you rock bangs? Let us know in the comments or send us your pictures.

I love how bangs are beginning to become popular because I've had straight across bangs for years just because they suit my face well. People have always tried to get me to change them into side swept bangs or grow them out, but I enjoy being different. :)

P.S. Don't you know that cool people refer to them as "fringe"? Yeah, I just learned that at the salon...I still call them bangs.

It's been about 12+ years that I had "baby bangs", i.e. short, blunt, and above the eye brow.
In the summer I let them grow out b/c I'm running around so much that I wear my hair swept up and tied back and in place with a scarf and a ton of pins.
Then in August, I feel like me again when I get the blunt cut bangs!

I just cut mine (by myself!) from a side swept into a full straight across bang. I LOVE them, for now anyway.

Heck yes! I love bangs. I hope they really come back, I think they were somewhat popular on women like in the 60's and 70's with the long straight funky hairstyles and a little bit in the 80's and 90's. It's too bad that they're neglected these days. Bangs are part of the reason I totally fell in love with the looks of actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead who reminds me of the young Janet Margolin or younger Ann Wilson. If more women modeled their looks from these true bang goddesses or the Lemondrop staffers, the world would be a much better place. I think I have good taste as well I like bangs + brunnettes= Shear awesomeness and beauty. As a guy I love it! Lets make the 2010's an even bigger revival decade in retro awesome hairstyles than the 2000's ever were. More bangs on brunnettesin the next ten years will make the future bright and the world better! :) ~In my opinion
