From the pics of covetable beehives to American Apparel chic, the blog provides photographic evidence that contrary to their present-day nagging and mom jeans, our mothers were infinitely cooler than us back in the day.
We think it's time to take out the photo albums and get digging for some black-and-whites that'll put Twiggy to shame.

My parents had matching corvairs red convertibles , my mom wore pedal pushers and had a 26" waitstline when she got married. We had a round white leather totally cool sectional sofa and the swag lamps that go up and down and a lamp that was a clock. She always dressed in the current fashion just like Dick Van Dyke's TV wife she had the same outfits. She colored her hair, and met my father on a ski trip where he broke his leg. My grandparents always entertained and so did my parents They were Kansas City High Society at the time private schools, When my mom got married they wrote who attended her shower and what she got in the social column of the KC Star paper. My father was always dashingly dressed and yes I have the old pics. All that stuff is comming back into fashion and I have stuff in my wardrobe (OMG) that is now current.
