If you thought the super-carb-loaded Domino's bread bowl was over the top, then wait for this. It's called the Craz-E burger, and it consists of a bacon cheeseburger with a grilled and glazed donut in lieu of a bun. Wowza. Clocking in at a staggering 1,500 calories, the donut burger was created by a bar owner in Decatur, Ga., who started substituting donuts when he ran out of buns. (We'd love to know the train of thought there.)
The burger, which was described as "classic fair food," was a hit at the Big-E fair in Massachusetts. We're as down as the next person for eating some corndogs come summertime, but if we're being honest with ourselves, this concoction makes us want to puke all over the Tilt-a-Whirl.

I love it! I have made a bacon cheeseburger and used two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of buns, which is also Great!

To: "Anibeth"- You may be the most annoying, nosey, stuck-up, self-rightous human being I have ever read, post a comment Online. That is saying ALOT. For you to assume that anyone who is eating this sandwich doesn't know exactly how unhealthy it is shows your nievite. "Under no cirumstances should a donut be used...", who are you talking to? Under whatever circumstances someone may want, a donut or any other item "may" be used if you so please. And the only thing "fruity" is you because tomatoes are not fruity (i know they are tech. a fruit) to me or most people. Lastly, "who needs starch when you were told to..." told to? Nobody, especially some health nut, has the right to tell anyone else how or what they can eat, or do anything else. You have a very bad mental outlook on the world. Not because you want to stay healthy, but because you obviously believe everyone should all be acting the same way, & care about the same things you do. Well sorry to disappoint. Get used to it, we only live once & life is short (whether you live 50yrs or 95yrs) so if someone wants to enjoy a donut burger if they like it, good for them that is why we founded a free country. PS- I bet you voted for & still support Obama & his re-distribution of wealth, the way you confidently advocate people being "Told" what to eat. I'm sure your views go beyond the world of food. Wake up

Ummm everyone eating this knows that it is bad for you. I personally don't like ground meat so I wouldn't eat it but it isn't up to anyone else to judge what other people think tastes good. It is no skin off your nose if a person eats ten of these things a day. Why get all up in arms about it? No one is sitting you down in a chair and making you choke one down. Lighten up. It isn't your money, it isn't your body so it isn't your business. Oh and by the way there are a host of health problems that could result in someone being overweight not just what they eat.
