We've seen some crazy wedding themes in the past, but this couple's vampire nuptials really take the creepy, fake-spider-covered cake. Connie Spitznagel and Jack Holsinger welcomed Halloween early when they tied the knot dressed as vampires in Grafton, Ohio. The groom was delivered to the altar in a coffin(!), which was carried by six pallbearers, where a minister dressed as Jason from "Friday the 13th" was waiting to officiate the ceremony. The couple continued the spooky theme with ghoul-inspired vows and a bite on the bride's neck instead of a kiss.
The Most Dark ceremony was Connie's idea. Since it was her first wedding and his second, Jack gave her free reign, saying, "It's what she wanted and it's about her. It's her time."
And it looks like she got the wedding of dreams -- or better yet, nightmares.

Totally awesome! I would love to have a vampire wedding - with a few tweaks, like Jason wouldn't officiate. But still, that's awesome!

cool wedding theme, my friend and her love are set to be married on halloween night ( which is a sat this year ) at my home, they too are having a dracula theme, but with out the gore, the bride will wear a black and red gown, with a velvet hat with a spider web veil, and the groom dressed in classic black and white with a cape that has a high collar and red on the inside, all guests are asked to dress in classic dracula attire, like the old movies, the women in victorian type gowns ( as former victims) and the men in classic black as well.. the invtes were hand made in the shape of a coffin, and printed in cool olde english typeset in red, the front dons a cross bone and skull with red crystals for the eyes. the flowers will be done in fall colors with a bit of webbing weaved in, the decorations will be fall pretty with webbing , and 2 fog machines will pour out smoke to set the scene.. we usually do a huge halloween thing every year, so we have everything we need to make this awesome, and since we are all fans of the holiday, it seemed apporiate to have the wedding on this day... should be a blast !!!!!!

I think this is a great theme. Of course, I'm really into vampires to begin with.

I wonder how they attracted this attention? Certainly they aren't the first to do this and definitely aren't the last! I wonder why they chose Jason when everyone else was vamped out.
