In June, Orlando resident Caitlin Boyle, 25, posted a picture of a Post-It note saying "You are beautiful" that she had stuck to her office building. A month later, the Post-It post has spawned a chain reaction and an entire blog devoted to spreading self-love.
Boyle's OperationBeautiful.com features pictures of more than 300 notes sent in by readers from Iowa to Iraq.
Why We Love Her: Boyle, a technical writer for an urban-planning firm, has a personal mission to end "fat talk," to which women of any size can fall victim. She runs a page devoted to the topic on Healthy Tipping Point, which chronicles her journey to healthy living.
On Operation Beautiful, readers share their own stories of scattering self-esteem-boosting scraps of paper.

Some of Caitlin's favorites:
Erica posted a note saying "You are beautiful just the way you are" in a diner bathroom, delighting a group of preteen girls.
Sarah, who is stationed in Iraq, wrote, "You are beautiful" in a bathroom because "being deployed with tons of men it is easy to forget to feel good about yourself."
Alex posted a note saying, "Smile, you are beautiful," on her running trail. "The note was still there when I walked home that day, however, it had been repositioned to the top of the pole so it wouldn't fall off."
Quote: "It's truly an amazing feeling and it makes me so happy," Caitlin told Lemondrop of the impact her site is having. "The most surprising thing about Operation Beautiful has been how much posting notes affects the posters themselves, not just the person who finds the note. As the editor of Operation Beautiful, I feel like I get to experience so much positivity and happiness reading all the notes and stories. I love it!"
