We like to think we have some sort of fashion sense. Or at least we used to think so until we discovered that a 13-year-old dresses better than we do.

Seriously, have you heard about this tween? Her name's Tavi Gevinson and she already has a fashion blog called Style Rookie, where she describes herself as a "dork that sits inside all day wearing awkward jackets and pretty hats." Oh, and naturally, she was invited to cover NYC Fashion Week. Of course she was.

Sigh. Considering we thought Abercrombie & Fitch was cool when we were teens, we no longer feel stylish. And where Tavi effortlessly blends stripes and super-size sunglasses like she's Nicole Richie in training, we're no longer impressed with our ability to match black and ... black.

We'll probably work for this girl someday, but until then, we'll just stalk her blog. (And never disclose we're getting fashion tips from an eighth grader.)
