When we were little, we played in old cardboard boxes and forts fashioned out of couch cushions. So when we saw this $4,750 playhouse mansion on eBay, we mourned our youths a little. Certainly, there's nothing wrong with owning nice things but when the size and cost of a children's toy rivals that of New York apartments, we've got to wonder: Are we sending the wrong message to kids?
Tell us, what's the priciest toy you owned as kid? And would you ever buy this monstrosity for your child?

The most expensive toy i had WAS a cardboard box, and there is no way I would buy my kid a playhouse that cost as much as my my first car!

I have no children.... but if i was loaded, i would consider buying that. It's not a toy it's a work of art. If you had the right setting.... that house is beautiful. But remember the people that would buy that are filthy rich, it's not like someone making $25,000 a year is gonna buy that for their kids.
