The Hawaiian island of Molokai has a lovable, living mascot swimming in their waters... too bad it's a SUPER-DEADLY BABY SEAL.

"KP2" was just a tiny monk seal pup raised by humans and released into the wild. But, like a lot of animals born in captivity, he returned to his "home" -- a wharf on Molokai -- where he befriended the local people, entertaining them and swimming with them and being generally adorable.

Unfortunately, that "little" baby monk seal now weighs 175 pounds and is expected to gain another 125. When playing with his people friends, he's accidentally held them under the water, so the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is planning to relocate him to a distant island before he drowns someone with his love. SAD!

Although the people of Molokai are clamoring for KP2 to stay (he's a friendly seal, c'MON!), perhaps in time they'll realize it's better to have fond memories of KP2's youth than nightmares of an adulthood spent murdering locals with his overzealous, obese hugs.
