You probably give better advice than most paid advice columnists, right? Mark has a question and we think you can help. Leave a comment with your advice.Mark's quandary:
"I've met a girl through some friends at work. She seems like a real sweetheart, and there was definitely some mutual interest. We just didn't have long enough for a natural number swap. It would have been forced.
"I'd love to see her again but have no idea how to orchestrate another meeting. She's just a degree too separated for me to contact. Facebook isn't an option because I refuse to sign up (I know, I know) -- I just don't need my family and friends colliding like that.
"So what's a natural, not creepy way to see her again so I can continue on my own?"

How about going back to the people who introduced you? Perhaps they could orchestrate another hangout to include the both of you... or perhaps, they could pass along a message for you that you're interested and give her your number. That way, if she felt the same connection you did, the ball is in her court to call you and it doesn't put any pressure on her if she's not interested.

Take notes from Edward 'See me Sparkle' Cullen. He's got stalking down to a fine art.

HC, I actually don't like the "passing along your number through friends" idea. That's happened to me and I always thought that was a very lazy way to get in touch with me. Plus, why would I call, am I desperate?
I'd prefer "natural" meeting, through the friends again seems like the best option.

Invite those friends to happy hour after work, ask them if they would invite the girl and tell them you thought she seemed really nice. They'll probably pass along the compliment, if she's interested she'll attend.
