What a truly meaningless survey. Yes, I took the survey, but only out of sheer boredom. Instead of just multiple choice, there should have been a survey space with each question. Not to mention that not all the questions can be answered by everyone. Some of the questions automatically assume that the person respomding is female. Why make the assumption that only women are interested in saving money? In this economic situation, men are just as likely to be looking for ways to save.

I have had quite a bit of wealth during my life. I have moderate taste though. I have never spent more than $130 on a pair of sneakers, or any shoes for that matter. And, I only spent that much while on a vacation to Disney and the shoes I was wearing were tortuous.
My ex-husband however......is another story. After a drawn out divorce I walked away from most of our assetts and money to just be done. In his infinite kindness he purchased his mistress/golddigger a a pair of $750 shoes while withholding child support while I was unable to work due to illness.

Everybody is cutting back on spending. If I came into some money I would not change my spending habits. I would conserve and invest my earnings into worth while investments.

I have extremely NARROW feet ,so I have always had to buy expensive shoes.Needles to say I don't shop for shoes often, I take very good care of the few I do have, and I have a very good repair shop I take them to when heels and soles wear down.

Why make the assumption that women are only interested in shopping? This survey is bullshit and one of the many mindless things encouraging women to be useless meat sacks. Throw this shit away.

Still doing all the things I love to do, dine out ~ shop for clothes, shoes, purses and other fashonable accessories/items. I just know where and how to find great deals (about 90% below retail). It is on current items usually found in high end boutiques and dept. stores, and this season not the previous one.
Happy Shopper :-)

I usually buy one or maybe 2 pairs of shoes each year. I am indeed a "taghag" but I buy classics. Some of my 15 year old shoes are just as stylish today as they were when I purchased them. I have more handbags than I will ever admit to owning but they are well cared for and used on a regular basis. Some feel the need to criticize the expenditure but that shines a harsh light on them. To quote my niece, they are just jealous witches. I scrimped, saved and paid for my items. If that is what you choose to hate me for then by all means proceed to do so.
