You know when something's funny but not funny at the same time 'cause it's sort of sad? You want to laugh, but aren't sure if you should. Well, the comics at A Softer World are just like that: a perfect blend of gorgeous photography and dark humor.

Example: One comic is a photo of clouds, with the caption, "Suicides go to hell for eternity, but in heaven, I'll live forever too. Is there no option where I get to be alone?"

The comics are the brainchild of photographer Emily Horne and writer Joey Comeau, who say they started it so people would recognize them as important artistic geniuses. (See, we told you they have a sense of humor.)
