There are few things more enviable than having a career in television, something we mere mortals can only enjoy on Thursday nights with inappropriate serving sizes of Americone Dream. We found three TV writers who blog so you might glean some insider-y knowledge.

Lisa Klink's Blog: As lovers of sci-fi dudes, geeky programmers and Mr. Spock, we were pretty jazzed about coming across the blog of Lisa Klink, who got her start in TV writing at none other than "Star Trek: The Next Generation." She gives us her insights into the industry as she examines the writing behind "Mad Men" and dishes worldly advice to film students.

Running With My Eyes Closed: A 25-year TV veteran, Jill Golick's written drama, comedy and even an episode of "Ripley's Believe It or Not." On "Running With My Eyes Closed," she sheds some light on the world of screenwriting we know little about, whether that's introducing cool new software for writers or contemplating the death of leaked pilots.

Things I've Bought That I Love:
Though she no longer updates her blog, entire lazy Sundays could be spent perusing the depository of entries on "The Office" writer Mindy Kaling's blog, "Things I've Bought That I Love." She gives us the rundown on her life staples (chili garlic sauce anyone?) and throws in random advice on going out for Ethiopian or picking out V-Day lingerie. It may not have anything to do with TV writing, but she's just as funny on the interwebs as she is on the tube.
