"I am in a wheelchair, but it's not stopping me," Kiera told a reporter.

What an incredible woman, what an amazing path. The caliber of strength and courage that Keira shows as an artist and human being is inspiration of the highest order, and I feel blessed to have witnessed her story. Thanks to Keira Brinkley for sharing her beauty with us, and to Ms. Fritsky for illuminating such a worthy tale.
I recently attended Ailey's summer program, and there was a lovely woman observing classes who looked a lot like Keira. Wonder if it was her? It's a shame we didn't exchange names at the time, merely kind words...

There are no disabilities, only the ability to want to accomplish something you want to do. As an amputee, I can only say, nothing can stop you unless you want to stop yourself from doing. Kiera is an inspiration to us all.
