I work 5 days a week in a designer suit. I never pay more than half price for a new suit. I shop off season for next season. My favorite 2nd hand store is Savers. I never pay more than than 10.00 for any suit designer only. Every week a certain color tag is half off. Thats all I buy. I have apprx 75 suits and more than 50 blouses to match. Matching shoe from DSW ,more than 80, all new, never for than 20.00 thats the rule. Look at all the sales in the mall stick to the limit. Its all out there for the price you want to spend.

#1 growing a garden is great if you can, some things can be growned inside as well , some come in pots already.
#2 Buy your meats by the case
#3 The 99 cents store they are it, they have eveything, they get a high traffic of customers so the items are not on the shelf that long, they are always stocking out
#4 Shop for sales and stock up
#5 Freeze almost anything can be frozen, and it is still quite freash when it thoughs out
#6 Buy in bulk , instead of little can foods buy 6lb. cans even if it is just you,you freeze what you do not use at that moment
buy your ketchup , mustard, manonaise, sugar, flower, hotsause, vinegar, etc. buy as much as you can in bulk it saves you money , for 6 months to a year you will not have to buy these things or 3 months if you have a big family
#7 You must stock up your food supply there are shortages on food in serval states right now because of the draught and in Detroit for what every reason they do not have a major grocery store so they are waiting for people to bring them in food on a truck and they can get only what they are allowed to get
the economy is getting better but it will still take a while to get back to where it needs to be from 9 years when things were much better
#8 Coupons are always good
#9 Flea market , buy what ever you can buy there first because they are cheaper than the grocery store and cheaper than shopping at the mall
#10 Make ice tea and lemonade at home
#11 Buy a exercise bike, a power rope and a trampalin, do your workoput at home for free instead a costy membership, put on a good movie and you would be surprise how you ride the exersise bike for 30 minutes to an hour too two hours long, or just work out outside
#12 Have a cookout at home or set a dinner for two , make it look like a restaraunt , or you and other family or friends can cook together or take turns cooking at each others house
#13 You can be very rich without working to hard, its about working smart
Save on things here and there and you can have more and have more fun
#14 In stead of buying a new house, buy a old raggedy one, my husband and I just did that , so now we are home owners with no house note, we are going to gut it out and redo it and when we are done we will have a faboulous new Italian stile house, we bought a single mobile for 200.00 so we can add on 2-3,000 feet with out breaking the bank , you must have or get a vision, Live as though you have a million dollars in your pocket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

As a chef there are SO many ways I know that you can make delicious food on the cheap.
1-Whole roasted chicken. 1 chicken with italian salad dressing as a marinade. You can buy the cheapest salad dressing (1.00 store) use 1/2 the bottle, you will love it.. You can get bruised veggies from your grocer and throw them in the roasting pan....done.
2-Old bread, NEVER throw it out, french toast, bread crumbs, use old bread soaked in milk use it in meatloaf. Keeps the meat supermoist and streches that all important meat out to serve more.
3-Makes your own cookies, IF you have to buy cookie dough use 1/2 the recommended amount and double the portions, cookies will cook faster so watch.
4-Bring leftovers for lunch, a-it saves time for your break. b-5 times cheaper than eating out.
5-Meat is ALWAYS cheaper with the skin and bones on it. Buy in bulk and save.
6-Stay away from canned fruits and veggies, the only vegetable that actually holds VERY well from cans or being frozen is GREEN peas. Remember the ONLY thing they add to canned stuff is sugar or salt and you are paying double for that.
7-Buy your proteins on SALE...they are usually 35-50-% off the regular price.FREEZE and SAVE.
8-When making the family favorites ALWAYS make double, you save on the time and the cost as well...
9-You have to shop around my local grocer is a SUPER THIEF but he does have bills just like us to pay and the cost of running a supermarket in Manhattan's upper westside is NOT cheap.thank God I get my stuff at trade price.
10-LEARN how to cook, watch TV shows, learn on the internet, read books, have your mom or dad or grandmom teach you.......
Saving money can be a fun and bonding learning experience...HAVE FUN

I dumpster dive. I find food and things like detergent, kleenex, fabric softener for example. I do not eat spoiled food. and I check all the recall lists so I know what is recalled (like the poison pet food). I can find things like potatoes, onions, fruits and other vegetables that are just fine. I share with the homeless shelter and friends. And I never buy flower pots.
I also like to find things and repurpose them, like a changing table becomes a potting table. An old wicker chair looks terrific with a plant on it in the flower bed.
I watch for things other people are looking for (Freecycle) and am always giving something good to someone. The last thing was a couple of birdcages (sanitized of course) to someone who does bird rescue.

I would love to know how to feed my family HEALTHY meals for less $. Unfortunately, It's so much cheaper to eat fast junk food. The other thing that I would like to learn about (if anyone out there knows, please reply) is how to earn $ from home so I can take care of my baby and be home for my older three children when they get home from school. I always see these GREAT advertisements that turn out to be scams. I can type as fast as the wind and am pretty good on the computer. Thank You and Good Luck to all of us during "Cheap Week"!
