Oh, Sarah Palin, when will the world stop obsessing over your looks? Last week, The New York Times reported that Palin, who recently resigned as governor of Alaska, is so stressed out that her hair is actually thinning. But have no fear! Today, Jessica Steele, Palin's longtime hairstylist from the Beehive salon in good ol' Wasilla has responded, and she promises that Sarah isn't going bald. No, Sarah's locks are just feeling the effects of the pressure she's been under as of late.
Find out Palin's prescription for hair health after the jump.
"I think the combination of traveling and just being down there in the lower 48 took its toll," Steele explains. "We needed to get her back to shiny.''
The frazzled politician was prescribed the Pureology NanoWorks line of shampoo and conditioner plus a leave-in treatment of Altieri Brothers Tuscan Oil. That's $48 for 10.1 ounces of shampoo, $48 for 8.5 ounces of conditioner, and $22 for 3.5 ounces of Tuscan Oil, adding up to a total of $118 for Palin to "get back to shiny."
But the value of healthy hair on a woman trying to reinvent herself? Priceless!

Wow, so this is what the world is worried about? Last I checked she was earning a paycheck and is able to afford to spend whatever she likes on hair care, child care, pet care or anything else. Get a life, folks.

Andy,
It is amazing that you are trying to blame the current president for a conflict that began with the Bush administration. I know how many republicans like to forget how we got into this financial mess. Maybe you should read a book and find out why we are in Afghanistan and Iraq a the current president has a huge mess to clean up after. Thank God that we don't have Palin or McCain in office right now.

Andy,
Obama cannot undue the mess made by Republicans nor end the conflict that Bush created overnight....for all those that doubt and sit back ridiculing Obama, they should be grateful we are not headed down the same path we were when Bush was "in control". You cannot correct or recover from a mess that was created over almost a decade.

I second that. I was so thrilled with that bit of information-that was such important news. I am sure this will make headlines at New York Times, ABC, NBC and CBS and of course CNN. These people need to get a life and lay off the cool-aid.

OBAMA IS DOING A GREAT JOB. EVERYTHING WAS IN A MESS WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE LEFT BY THE BUSH. YOU CAN'T EXPECT THE MAN TO STRIGHTEN OUT THIS MESS NOT EVEN IN ONE TERM OF OFFICE. WE DO HAVE TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE, MY GOD, HE'S ONLY BEE.N IN SIX MONTHS, WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT A CRISIS IN SIX MONTHS. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF. I DO BELIEVE HIS HANDLING OF THE SITUATIONS ARE ALL GOING TO TURN OUT FOR THE BEST FOR ALL AMERICANS, ESPECIALLY HEALTH CARE REFORM.

And, wasn't she still recovering from childbirth of her last when the "whirlwind" hit. That naturally makes your hair thinner for a while. But I still voted OBAMA!

Nappy hair do? Are you talking about Michelle Obama? Since when do you know anything about hair anyway? Why not stick to something you do know, kissing up to the Obamas? Sarah's hair has a long way to go before she is bald. Besides giving birth does take it's toll on a woman's body as Prudy said. If you dislike her so much, just leave her alone. I happen to think she is a wonderful example of what a woman can do.
