Glamour magazine has come out with a few "new" beauty tips, and the folks over at Jezebel are super-miffed. Apparently, it is not OK to suggest somebody tweeze their nipple hairs. But why not?We don't know about you guys, but when those stray black hairs show up, we tweeze the heck out of them. If there was a stray hair growing out of the middle of our forehead, we would tweeze it too. And really, shouldn't it be OK to do what you want to your body, be it stabbing holes in your ears to hang decorative hoops, or removing hair from someplace you don't want it?
Seriously, what's wrong with tweezing your nipple hairs, other than that a fashion magazine suggested it? Be honest: How do you deal with the issue?

This is an important issue and I'm glad someone is speaking out about it. I definitely tweeze.

Hell yeah I do! The thought of just leaving them there makes me a little sick.

Of course I tweeze! And I tweeze between shaving/brazilians too. Dude, stray hairs (especially WHITE pubes) must be eliminated by any means handy.
I carry tweezers with me EVERYWHERE.

Tweeze? My NIPPLES? First of all, they're very sensitive. Second of all, if a guy has been allowed to see them, he should not be noticing a few wisps of hair. If he does, he's welcome to never see them again.
Seriously, I'm with Jez. I had no idea I was supposed to feel bad about having a few hairs around my nips, so it's always nice to have a fashion mag there to make sure I do!

Doesn't "Our Bodies, Ourselves" say something about how plucking nipple hairs can contribute to infection, therefore, is to be avoided?
I don't have my copy in front of me, and I don't know what the medical literature is saying these days.
I've never plucked because the thought of a boob infection is just too scary!
