Statia Kealy of Ireland has never married, smoked, drank or even put on makeup. So maybe that's why she's finally ready to cut loose and hit the dating scene at the tender age of 106. Statia, who could easily pass for 88 or 89, says she's looking for love. If you know any lonely centenarians who live near Ireland, maybe you should pass along her number. She's got a sense of humor, telling one reporter, "Those that get married do well, but those that don't do better." Fiery!
If she can't find a man and is willing to learn Chinese, maybe she could be pen-pals with Wang Guiying, a 107-year old Chinese lady who finds herself in the same "predicament." Although 106 years of eating Poptarts alone in bed doesn't necessarily sound so bad.

It isn't that Mr. right isn't out there sometimes women have to accept a man
how he is and not out to make them into what we want them to be
to make any relationship work.
The reason why we don't find Mr. right is that we have ideals of what our
mate should be and we do often try to change a person into our ideal.
It is why marriage sometimes don't work or long term relationships.
A women can not change her man she can only accept him and his vice.

I think you are confusing Mr. Right with Mr. Perfect. We all know there is no such thing as Mr. Perfect (only Miss Perfect !) No, honestly, there is nothing wrong with waiting for Mr. Right For Me. Not a perfect man, but your perfect mate. Someone you can respect and admire. Someone you want to spend a lifetime with. If you wait too long for Mr Right, you may end up old and no kids; that happened to my sister and I never met a more miserable person, regretting marrying the man she thought was perfect for her; another woman's man! Now she is bitter and he's gone, because he was 15 years older than her; a musician who was nothing, but a drunk! He never worked a real job, never saved any money for a rainy day; and left her anything but his loans! No house, no kids, nothing but his stupid name! I have been happily married for 37 years. My son (35) is of the same opinion as most of you. He says he will never get married because he feels all women are potential cheaters. He has had a few unsuccessful relationships.
It sounds like this lady has had the same experiences in life.....Too bad....you gotta keep trying....its no fun growing old alone. My Mom is 105.

To Mikes response.... (I dotn know you but you sound like a lazy bum! I will bet all you do is beat your wife! If your married, but I will bet your not at all. I have been married for a very long time, but when your man gets very sick and all you do is have to take care of him and do everything else (cut grass, take out garbage, fix anything that gets broken, your better off single! Especially when the man you married does not even know your name any more and thinks your just his nurse! I will never marry again!
