While most teens would freak out at the sight of their mother in her skivvies, Michael, an 18-year-old New Zealander, saw his mom's nudity as a good opportunity to make some money. The young Kiwi tried to auction off "five naked photos of Mum" to annoy her after the pair had an argument, he told the Herald on Sunday newspaper. Apparently his parents told him he could sell any "unwanted items" found in the family's garage on the auction site Trade Me (think eBay for that hemisphere).
Trade Me took down the auction the next day, deeming it inappropriate content. However, this didn't stop Michael from creating a new set of "glamour" shots (including an underwear pic) of which mom, Jennifer, approved. Unfortunately for this family, Trade Me pulled this off the auction block as well.
While most mothers would be relieved to have this off the Web, Jennifer is a bit ticked off.
"They are quite artistic," she said. "There is nothing dodgy about them. I wanted 50 percent of the sale, but more than that I miss the nice comments."

Breasts are not sexual. I know men fetishize over them but really tits only exist to feed babies. Every woman knows this. There are many parts of the world where women do not feel the need to cover their boobs (hot places). Little girls can go around topless because there is nothing to see. Its only when they mature and the "tit-fairy" arrives that they might want to cover up.

There's nothing wrong with nude pictures... in the right context. I dont' think this is the appropriate. Doesn't anyone find it odd that this boy has/took nude pictures of his 'Mother'? How did that happen? Seems she knew. That seems perverse to me.

you guys don't want to look at old people in the nude, right. what makes you think you are all that. you guys walk around with your beer bellies like your god gift to women.and your only 20-30-or 40 yr's old. i 'am 74 and have seen some nice looking men in there 60-70 that i would love to look at in the nude.kids putting pic. on the internet of there once good looking mom's is not a good thing. why are these pic. still around and why are the kids looking in there bedroom for any thing.

18 huh? Kick his ass out, unappreciative punk. Let him make his own way, although that might not be the best thing for the world either. Next thing you know he's hiding in the women's bathroom to try and make more money. It would be so possible for him to do shit like that if everyone wasn't so oversexed these days, you see it everywhere and now people are looking for more. Gross. A racist supreme court justice has been appointed to the supreme court. This is the mot important story in the news tody. She claims that a Latino woman is better judge than a white man. She ruled that it was OK to deny whites employment in order to give people of a different race a job, even when the minoriteis failed to prove their compentents in a fair examination. Her decision was overturned by the current supreme court, but after she is seated it will be OK to discrimnate against whites. THE CONGRESS IS DECIDING IF SHE SHOULD BE SEATED ON THE SUPREME COURT . generally I read these post to get a good laugh at the serious, sometimes vulgar and gross comments. but jeez people...READ the article...because none of you have. and most of the time none of you do. I guess it is a product of speed reading, picking out key words in a paragraph...but if this were a test folks, you would all FAIL. the mother didn't like the nude pictures posted, only the ones of her in her underware...sheesh...and this childish immature belief that parents nudity is gross is just plain, well childish and immature...HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU ALL THINK YOU GOT HERE...oh yeah....the stork brought you....how silly of me...and to think some of you with these beliefs are parents yourselves....dear god give me strength....or blind me from reading these stupid posts...

WE ALL read the story and yes we know the mother thought they were just great photos, for the most part. But I am beginning to think she has a screw loose!
This is not being prudish. You DON'T flaunt nudity, especially of yourself, in front of your kids. I don't care if you have a beautiful body or not. I guess no one understands the word "indecent" any more.

thank you LULU for proving my point....because you did not read the article...nor did you read my post....no where did it state that the pictures were taken in front of the boy...no where did it state that the mother was okay with the NUDE pics being auctioned off ...it said that the pics were found in the garage, and that the mother was okay with the pics the boy CREATED of her wearing underware...you can touch up pictures on your computer which apparently he did....READ THE ARTICLE......

I don't find this distrubing other than the fact that they were pictures of his mother. In the rest of the world nudity isn't as frowned upon as it is in the US, its just a different attitude.

He is 18 and knows better....of course mom did not mind the underwear shot.....that should tell you a lot about the family background. Probably we should not be surprised....the mom and son seem to have a 'dysfunctional' if not strangely close relationship anyway. If one our sons had done this....at 18....he would be finding another place to live .
