While most teens would freak out at the sight of their mother in her skivvies, Michael, an 18-year-old New Zealander, saw his mom's nudity as a good opportunity to make some money. The young Kiwi tried to auction off "five naked photos of Mum" to annoy her after the pair had an argument, he told the Herald on Sunday newspaper. Apparently his parents told him he could sell any "unwanted items" found in the family's garage on the auction site Trade Me (think eBay for that hemisphere).
Trade Me took down the auction the next day, deeming it inappropriate content. However, this didn't stop Michael from creating a new set of "glamour" shots (including an underwear pic) of which mom, Jennifer, approved. Unfortunately for this family, Trade Me pulled this off the auction block as well.
While most mothers would be relieved to have this off the Web, Jennifer is a bit ticked off.
"They are quite artistic," she said. "There is nothing dodgy about them. I wanted 50 percent of the sale, but more than that I miss the nice comments."

This is nothing new. In the sixties a neighborhood boy had a nude picture of hismother, and was showing it all over the place. I will never understand why anyone would let themselves be photographed naked. How do they know it won't be seen by others. And you sure can't trust your kids. The woman deserves what she got.

First, I would not allow myself to be photographed naked. Right or wrong, I'm just not that comfortable with my body. But I have to disagree with the comment from "Betty Davis" where she said "you sure can't trust your kids." I know, with complete certainty, that I can trust my kids! They would NEVER do something like this. But consider the whole situation here---the New Zealand mother #1-let the photos be taken, #2-was proud of their "artistic" flare, and #3-liked the attention she was getting from the auction. That's the attitude that she passed down to her son. If it works for them, whatever. It's just not for me (or my kids!)

Most posing for nude photos don't care that they're seen.

There's nothing worse than a desperate aging woman trying to get attention in the wrong way. Sounds weird as hell all the way around. Who in their right mind wants a naked pic of their mother? Even more than that is the stupid mother actually wanted her nasty pic online to be sold. How cheap can you get?

Obviously you never read the article. It says the boy found them in the trash and after he got PO'd at her he tried to auction them off online. Apparently she didnt know about it until later. Reminds of a event in the Police Olympics, called FLYING OFF THE HANDLE, then another one called JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS.

Get rid of them.......I got rid of all the nude pictures of me and my wife. I am 69 now and she is 61 and cannot afford to take any chances at our age. Would hate for my daughter or other relative to find them, even after we are gone. They were not just nude photos but super erotic. I guess the best description is downright NASTY. Actually, you gotta be stupid to have these things at any age. I will admit it is fun to take them but safer to destroy them soon after.

Jerry,
I laughed when I read your post.. I also destroyed any nude pictures onfmyself and hubby before our now close to adult children could find them..I laugh though as back in the day we didn't have scanner and printers and had to send them out to be developed..We must have made someone's wall somewhere!!!
