burgers on the grillThere is no better way to kick off a night of fireworks and patriotic make-outs than an afternoon of cold beer and perfectly grilled meat.

We checked out our favorite girl who grills, Cyndi Allison, to see what she has planned for tomorrow. The photos alone of her grilled chicken, steak, burgers, hot dogs, seafood and brats are mouthwatering -- we're definitely going to try this bacon-wrapped-shrimp recipe tomorrow. But that's not all we're cooking up -- check out the rest of our eats after the jump.

Grill the Perfect Steak
According to Tim Gannon, co-founder of Outback Steakhouse, the key to a perfect steak on the grill is not to cook it directly on the rack, but instead put a cast iron skillet over the coals and cook your meat in there. As for seasoning, he says try out your favorite seasoning blend (Tony's makes everything better), or just go with a 50/50 salt and pepper blend with some oregano and garlic cloves. Add a little butter to the skillet and you're good to go.

The Juiciest Burger You'll Ever Eat
If you're feeding a ton of people, burgers are the easiest way to go. Try adding chopped onions or green and red peppers to the raw patties before cooking -- it adds some sweet flavor and a little bit of texture. To make sure the burgers stay super juicy, even when cooked well-done, I always throw in a spoonful of sour cream, an egg and some breadcrumbs before pattying 'em up.

Homemade BBQ Sauce
You probably don't realize how easy it is to make barbecue sauce. While I don't recommend doing this for the first time at your Fourth of July party, you should definitely try making your own sauce sometime this summer. There are plenty of recipes online, but it doesn't get any easier than this: Mix a lot of ketchup, not as much brown sugar, a splash of white vinegar, some honey and little bit of Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Keep messing with these ingredients until you're happy with the taste. Add chili peppers, jalapenos or hot sauce if you want a kick. Let sit for as long as you have before meal time and enjoy.
