Thought pirates were the new scourge of the oceans? Wrong you were! A sea lion terrorized the high seas of Orange County when he took a fireboat for a cruise.

The sea lion was being transported farther from the mainland after it grabbed onto the pants of a child at the beach. Once on the boat, the prankster casually walked into the V-berth and hopped into the driver's seat. After pushing several buttons that didn't seem to do anything, it found the lower steering station and changed the boat's course. After a few minutes of struggle, the men on board managed to regain control of the boat.

Luckily, they were able to wrangle the sea lion out of the boat with a hose (seriously!). We think that all reporters should probably quit their jobs, because a better news story than this is never going to happen, ever.
