A Polish couple who had been living together in Germany got married and decided to get an annulment on the same day, after a huge fight broke out almost immediately post-nuptials. It escalated pretty quickly into that "I never want to see you again" phase, which must be pretty awkward right after tying the knot with somebody. Then the groom began chasing his bride around with a knife and trying to cut her hair. (Judging by what we learned from the Claire Danes movie, we're pretty sure that's not a Polish wedding tradition.) The cops were called by wifey and they issued the man a restraining order, which he gladly accepted.
To put the cherry on top of the worst wedding day ever, the surly groom spent his wedding night sleeping alone in a homeless shelter for men. Well, at least as alone as a person can be in a homeless shelter, that is. Happy June!
For some reason it was a little more entertaining when Britney Spears did it. Perhaps that's because her short-lived marriage to a high school buddy involved Vegas shenanigans instead of somebody being chased around with a kitchen knife.

Two years of premarital counseling should be mandatory before a license can be issued. In addition, a couple of lie detector tests should be conducted. Only those that pass a very extensive psych test should be allowed to marry. People are making the institute look bad.

the point is, you fools, that the "sanctity of Hetero marriage" is not so pure and perfect, as anti-gay marriage folks believe it is.
there is a 54% DIVORCE rate among hetero marriages.
THE GAYS would do much better at marriage, because they have fought hard to for this CONSTITUTIONAL (human and legal) right.

Me NOT being a Christian can understand and do not really agree with gays or lesbians but at the same time I'm living my life and my life only. Whatever other people do is their business. People are allowed to have their own likes and freedom as long as it is not harming others. I do not feel it is my business if people want to be gay or lesbian as long as they are not bothering me. I don't agree with many things but every person is their own individual with their own choices and mind. No one will or can really influence me. I have been around many different types of people and their behavior and way of life has no effect on me. I still make choices on my behalf.
I'm just questioning what is so horrible that you would want to chase your ex lover with a knife. I don't think I'd want to hurt someone I loved or did love. Overall, I just don't want to hurt anyone period anyway. I'm just sorry that people don't value love or each other these days where the ending has to come down to wanting to kill each other. Today's society is just really out of place right now.

I knew someone years ago who filed for divorce the day after she got married! They were in the car heading for the airport to leave for their honeymoon. A arguement started over something and she said something like...HEY it's my wedding day! You HAVE to do what I want...and he backhanded her. When he stopped the car she jumped out and never looked back! I say good for her and good for the woman in the story above.
Neither man deserved a wedding night!

I think these people are idiots yet commendable at the same time. Even though they spent many years together and spent lots of money together , they wait until the wedding to show they asses (true colors). At least they acklowedged the problem at the wedding and didnt wait for 5 years, 2 kids in the future to decide to call it quits and destroy other (kids) lives in the process and decide to divorce. HAve you seen Kate & Jon + 8 recently, I rest my case. Sidenote... why hasnt any1 called CPS on them, those are kids you should be worried about, not the children of gay couples.
IDK how an article on idiots turned into a pro & con discussion on gay civil rights but heres my piece. As a man with a loving partner of the same sex with 2 beautiful kids of our own DNA we say FUCK YOU to those who wish to spread hate around. We hooked up with a hot lesbian couple and had 2 kids. (2 more in the future if were lucky from the same couple.) Our kids have 4 parents who love them more than the world, a child can never receive too much love or validation. To all of you who wish to quote the bible and live by every other word of him you should remember that it also teaches tolerance and love, not the hate that is being spewed over an article about a 24 hr divorce. No sin is greater than any other, but homosexuality seems to be the ultimate sin. Since in your eyes it is, I wish that any1 who expresses hate in any fashion, whether it be to a gay, straight, Chinese, Japanese, Muslim, Indian, black, white, Mexican, or etc were aborted at birth. Heres areal question, since procreation to some people is the real will of GOd, would a highly virile person who chooses to use plenty birth control and never have kids, bc they know how truly fucked up this world and some people can be, are they sinning in God's book?
