Remember all that crap about a mother's unconditional love? Yeah, not so much if you were an ugly baby. Chances are, if you (like some of us) were born with any combination of wall-eyes, eczema, jaundice, creepy infant teeth, etc., your mother may have had a hard time just looking you square in your ugly little face.According to new research, men are much less likely to look away from babies with facial abnormalities than women are, though women are more likely to rate average-looking babies as more attractive. It's thought this stems from ye olden days before rash ointment, when it made more sense for women to invest their time in raising healthy-looking babies who would live to overcome infections and, uh, disfigurements.
So the next time you find yourself struggling to tell your friend what a "beautiful" baby she has, remember, she's probably thinking the same thing you are.

I already don't think much of babies, but in order to like them they just have to be cute....horrible I know. It would really trouble me if I have ugly babies that don't turn cute in at least a few months. I mean, average is fine, but I've seen some ugly babies and yeah....I'd rather look away. But fortunately for me I'm half asian and I think white/asian babies are adorable. =)

Not all babies are cute. It's just a fact. Not all adults are very attractive, so why would it be any different for infants. On the bright side, maybe they'll grow out of it as they get older.
It's sad to see so many people in denial.

Umm.. Whoever wrote this article.. Probaby has a really sad life and are trying to compensate for their own ugliness. Go ahead, call me fat and ugly, neither of which any person online would know. If you have an opinion about a disfigured baby, keep it to yourself. It's people who ridicule the faults in human attractiveness, that are ridiculing themselves. Hence, proclaiming others' faults to try and take the light off of your own. Human behaviour has become a dis-tasteful, angry thing.. And the people who can point and laugh at a little baby, are the butt of society. We don't need this sort of judgement in the world. Next time you blame society for your children's disposition, have a glance in the mirror and remember that YOU added to the flames. "Do not judge, lest ye be judged." Enjoy your selfish life.
