You remember when you were a kid and you told your parents that one day they'd be sorry? It seems sometimes those aren't hollow words.

When William Ireland was 6, his father left his family for another woman, leaving behind one other sibling and his mother, who had only $28 dollars to her name. After years of longing for a father, William managed to reconnect with his. In 2006 Pops died, and left behind all of his money and estate to the woman he left William's family for and the son he had with her, which left William less than pleased.

William managed to get ownership of the ashes by paying for the funeral (pretty sneaky), and he's put them up for auction on eBay, with a starting bid of 99 pence (about $1.65). Here's the description of Dad's remains:

"Here are the ashes of my father, Kenneth Ireland, an adulterer who left a wife, two children and just £17 in her pocket. He never paid a penny towards his kids' upbringing."
