Reader CoCo: Some vintage Motown and my chocolate lab....I'm in heaven! Oh, and a box of JuJubes!
Reader Paige: Honestly, I go for a walk, take my chihuahua sometimes, listen to something good and happy. Other times, I sit or lay on my bed with my chihuahua and talk to him and make him smile... my dog makes me the happiest.
Reader Lynne: I just had a guided imagery class that ended 7 minutes ago. During my guided imagery I imagined myself with my dogs (2 Chihuahuas and a Dachseranian) on Laguna Beach. I was sitting in my beach chair and my doggies were romping all around me and giving me kisses. Yes, I'm going to do more with them too.!
Reader Suzanne: I have friends of many years and don't often see some of them. But when I think of a specific friend for some reason, I try to call them. They are pleased to hear from me and a good conversation makes me feel happier too.
Reader larry: a nice long walk . forget about wasting time. go slowly and enjoy the distractions.
Reader 'Idea Factory': Get happy in 30 minutes or less: TAKE A 30 SECOND BREAK EVERY HOUR. Simply...stand up, hang up your phone, look away from the computer, stretch your hands to the ceiling, shake your shoulders and take a deep breath. If necessary, sip a drink of water. a)This will cause you to "slow down" in your speech and thought processes, b) this will give you a moment to get away from "sitting" for long stretches of time, c) this will assist in your over all circulation by reaching for the ceiling, d) it will allow you a moment to laugh, remember, or even pray. e) It has been known to create a "new idea" as well.
Reader Sherry: So, my two cents.... I think that if you're in a bad mood for a really good reason then you have every right to vent and release that crap. For sure!
Reader Kia: What makes me happy? The thought of traveling, getting good bargains in doing so makes me happy. The thought of generating targeted web traffic for my different marketing projects THRILLS me. The thought of teaching others how to turn a blog into a cash machine excites me. Watching my son laugh, learn and grow makes me over joyed.
Reader Yolis: For a 55 year old - it just takes listening to the 'Oldies but Goodies' songs (50's-70's) and it makes the day well worth. Not kidding!
Reader Suse: Try gardening, works for me!
Reader Chris: techno sucks... its all about TRANCE.. that'll get you happy.

I heard once that people should go to the mirror and actually look, really look, hard and laugh at themselves! I find a smile does it!! Ask yourself, what can be so unsurmountable? Give thanks to your God. Tons of ways to maintain balance, I accept that some things aggravate me but I cannot do a damn thing about them so I should just smile and get on with it. Incidentally, not many people like to converse with someone who is perpetually miserable!! I most certainly do not tolerate much past offering assistance or cheering someone up a little and they are still miserable? Sorry!!

I know that for me, hapiness is just a 3 minute song away! I love to just break out dancing to a song with a good beat, and it gives me a giant rush of adrenaline!
