hey stop right there, cause one "LAND BEFORE TIME" is and well always be one of my favorite childhood movies. and who ever is making this artical is just one big EMOTIONAL person that is just pissed cause he/she comperhended the story and moral of the movie and adventure wrong. and tell me this "DISNEY" had and well make movies with meaning or some kinda of story behind it. ok look at the "LION KING" mufasa dies which is simbas dad. hmm didnt that movie do great???? but if your gunna be crying cause a mother( a woman) in the story dies then you need to grow up, get a straw and suck it up cause this is life. these movies help/helped up become who we are today so you cant handle that well i'm sorry for who ever you are.

That was bull$#&t!!!! I love ducky, I love petry, and I don't give a dam what anyone says. I'll forever be mad at this movie for killing the mom. Seriously, what movie will envoke the love a son has for his mother, with the love a boy has for dinosaurs. I have a 2 year old now, and he is obsessed with dinosaurs. You can literally see the confusion in his eyes when he sees his favorite dinosaur, killing the little dinosaurs mom. What production company do I send the bill for that therapy. Plus I just want to punch the creator in his nose. I love you littlefoot!!!!

OH YEAH, I FORGOT TO ADD SOMETHING ELSE!!!! Like separating littlefoot from his family wasn't enough. Or being chased around the whole movie by a huge dinosaur that wants to eats wasn't entertaing. The producers and writer just had to say, "hey lets kill the mom off, wouldn't that be real entertaining for the kids."

This movie was one of my favorites when I was little but I always cried at the end (ironically not when the mom dies). I think that really kids become jaded to these things whether or not they see them in children's cartoons, it just happens. It would be like not telling a child that they lost a grandmother or something just so they don't feel the sadness attached to the event- it just wouldn't work, I know it happened to me!
