As a therapist who deals with children, I find it very sad that we are not allowing our children to learn how to deal with emotions. We do not want them to feel sad, dissapointed, or angry. We are cutting them off from their human experience. In addition, we are damaging their ability to learn how to deal with these feelings as adults. To say that they will have enough of these feelings when they are adults is not enough. They have to learn how to cope with loss, sadness, dissapointment and anger in a healthy way so to be able to negotiate through their adults lives. Be a good parent. Let your children have their feelings. Teach them how to talk about what they are feeling. Teach them how to be fully human.
Wow. These movies are pretty weird... Not all that sad and I've seen just about all of them. I believe it's sad-er if a human character dies for the good of another... or, even a robot like in Terminator Salvation when Marcus Wright gives up his only bit of human for John Connor to live... No real human being is really that honorable to do such a thing. I mean, I saw So many horror movies much worse than animal death only human death would really be traumatizing. ((Oh, and I like that song by MSI)) I'm not gay, but I believe that any person has that right to choose whether they are gay or not, and people like... Karen McGraw need to get a reality check. Look, if they don't try to molest your kids or bother you or whatever you think they may do, leave them alone. Because whether your children become homosexual or not is by their own choice. Whether influenced early on or not. There are many other factors that affect the mind of a human being than just seeing it. Example: If a person smokes pot are your kids gonna smoke pot after they saw that? I mean, c'mon, I'm fifteen and can grasp that concept better than you can ever hope to. Thanks for reading. =p -Nick F. Ivicevich III
I think that "Dances with Wolves" is about the best picture I have ever seen and would love to watch it with my 5 grandsons. YES, it takes us back to how life was like "back then", but true to life.
Children should be exposed to the actions of gay people. It is a part of our society and they need to accept that. Teaching them not to only creates more hatred between people or different backgrounds and beliefs.
this is a great movie!1 its not a family film. its an action comedy. theres several movies on this list that are not kids films like dances with wolves
I have to agree with all the anti gay stuff. I have gay friends but truly... i mean, God Save This country. we are the most screwed up society for allowing such filth in TV and film.
