International Female Ride Day might have come and gone on May 1, but we don't think one day is enough to celebrate women motorcycle riders in all their badass glory. That's why the latest Lifespy is dedicated entirely to biker gals who blog. Reading about their adventures is so fun, you might find yourself shopping for your own hog.

Motorcycle Misadventures: Carla King, a book author and blogger, gets paid to write about riding through foreign countries. How awesome is that? On her blog, she chronicles her current location and the tough decisions she makes daily (like which route to take while riding through Morocco). It's enough to make any woman jealous -- even ones who don't own multiple motorcycles.

Backroads With Betsy: Betsy Huelskamp has been revving her motorcycle's engine for more than 20 years. On her blog -- a favorite in the motorcycle community -- she writes about trekking through ghost towns and reconnecting with old friends through a ride on the open road. In Betsy's own words: "It's a great lifestyle, isn't it? Sharing the sky and the wind and the road with your friends." Amen, Betsy.

Biker Chickz Blog: Having recently relocated from Seattle to Santa Cruz, Calif., Becky was looking forward to riding her '07 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic year-round. But that's when she got the news: Thanks to the crappy economy, she was being laid off. You've gotta love her optimism (she looks at it as a chance to spend more time riding) and the gorgeous pictures she shares from her West coast rides.

Tell us: Is there a motorcycle maven we missed? Want to let us in on your experience with the open road? Share it all in the comments.
