HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! OK, GOOD IDEA FOR SOME. MIX EATTING FRUIT WITH ALMONDS & A TALL GLASS OF WATER. LISTEN TO SOME JAZZ, THINK HOW BLESSED YOU TRULY ARE. PUT A PENCIL BETWEEN YOUR LIPS. IT'LL MAKE YOU SMILE EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. BE KIND OF SOMEONE TODAY. :)

That's pretty close, rick. First, I say a prayer for world peace. Then I say "BARTENDER!" Hahahaha.

I am happiest when I am with my boyfriend and my children. I enjoy lots of hugs and kisses from them. And happily return the favor. But, to boost endorphins and fight off depression, I take long walks each day. I walk 6 to 8 miles a day. But, I doubt I really need to walk that much to boost endorphins. It's my way of staying physically fit too.

I agree giving helps-----------directly is better than a check. i know where the homeless hangout ---cash, desserts (even Drum sticks)to their location or special foods taken to our churches stash (given to the needy )but even sending a e mail card or personal note to a grieving spouse or mother or? When I am really down I try to get together with a true friend for a cuppa. Yes, I have been really betrayed by 2 of my adult children.and my husband----- They cleaned out my house of hobbies, memories etc 2 years ago and it still hurts. AND my real help is Prayer oh, it may help some of you to know I am almost 80. Ree

This always works to make you feel happy and confident. Look for every opportunity to compliment someone or give a kind word or smile. There are so many people you come in contact with during the day and some of them never hear a kind word. Also, smile at someone and sure enough, they smile back at you. Try it. It gives you a wonderful sense of confidence.

Write a thank-you note. There must be someone you know who deserves a note of appreciation or a pat on the back. It will make you count your blessings and will "make someone else's day" as well. Practice an attitude of gratitude.
