As if getting married wasn't stressful enough, Georgette Fogarty-Clemens found herself in the unlikely position of saving her neighbors from a fire the same day she was wed, before she even had the chance to take her dress off.

Georgette was on her way home from her wedding when she saw smoke coming from her neighbor's house and told her friend to stop the car. She leaped out into a puddle, of course, covering herself with mud, and ran up the drive to tell the occupants that their house was on fire. Obviously nobody is expecting to open the door to a woman in a wedding dress telling you your house is burning, but Susan Schneiderman managed to squeeze out a mazel tov before getting herself, her son and her pets out safely.

For now Georgette is wishing the best for her neighbors, but hopefully she'll get an awesome anniversary present from them next year.
