These days many young couples are opting to forego their dream weddings to save a buck or ten-thousand. But the fine folks at Improv Everywhere thought that was pretty sad, so they decided to help one lucky couple out by staging a very special wedding reception. Newlyweds Raff and Frank were treated to a full-on party, complete with cake, flowers and requisite dancing of the Macarena. And, oh, a room full of strangers.

My heart goes out to the family. Everyone should just leave them alone and let them workout their problems. It is so sad to see their names, faces and all kinds of bull about how they looked as a child, where Kate grew up, are they hurting their kids by all this publicity, will their marriage fail. Come on, The media is the cause for the publicity. So they have a show on TV. Watch the show or not that's your choice. Media shut up.

Ummm...did you even read the article? I have a feeling that you are refering to that show (jon and kate plus 8). This article is about a couple that received the gift of a wedding reception. People wonder why I'm afraid of the future of our country. It's because idiots like you have been running it. Next time, read before you comment. Better yet, don't comment at all. After all, even the fool seems wise if he never opens his mouth.

Wow that was great!! Random acts of kindness really warms my heart. I would have loved to have been there and participated in their happy day. I'd love to know how to sign up for things like this...lol Making someone else happy is a blessing. As a New Yorker myself I could understand them being cynical at first..lol What a great idea this was!! My very best to the happy couple!!!

THE COUPLE REALLY ENJOYED THEM SELVES AND ITS NICE THAT SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN BRING JOY TO OTHERS. AND TO BE HONEST, IF IT WAS PAID BY TAXPAYERS, SO WHAT? WE ALL AT SOME POINT SPEND MONEY ON THINGS THAT ARE WASTED SO IF THIS LITTLE RECEPTION CAN MAKE SOMEONE'S DAY, AND OBVIOUSLY ITS NOT EXPENSIVE, HOW MUCH COULD IT HURT? I'M ALL FOR IT!!

Cake wasn't big enough. Litigation avoided by using a lotto at the court. They will likely group or invite all willing couples in one big ceremony. Parking or other logistics will become a problem as people "plan" to come to them. They will eventually find a hall, then schedule them for a small fee etc etc
