It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a cat! No, seriously, it's a cat. A cat with wings.
In Chongqing, China, a little white pussycat has sprouted bat-like wings. Some scientists this is the result of chemicals its mother was exposed to, or that it's some kind of horrible bone-and-matted fur appendage. A whole host of winged cats was exposed last year in China, surrounded by a similar, adorable veil of mystery.
Regardless, the scientists say that the growths don't affect the quality of the animals' lives, they just make them look like the most super-awesome flying cat superheroes ever. OK, we added that last part, but come on! It's a cat with wings!
